Why that Feral Mom?

We all have the desire to do better and be better!

I am a mom of a 5-year-old boy and a 2-year-old girl. If you know you know… I had a somewhat decent childhood as a young child. My mom was a crafty mom we did arts and things like that. My dad was in the navy. We traveled a lot and lived near the ocean always. We also had a lot of fun moments. Those are the things that I want to try to bring with me as I raise my two kids. Our lifestyle is that of a somewhat urban farmer if you will. We live 5 acres currently in a small little rural farming hippy town.

I did not grow up anywhere near a farm and never really thought about it until my partner and I visited his family in the same town we reside. We fell in love with Southern Oregon and packed our bags left San Fransico and started a completely different life.

My son being born in 2020 was our covid baby. We started farming when I was pregnant but really jumped into it in 2020, we farmed our own veggies and fruits and raised chickens’ turkeys and a pig!

Since then, we had my daughter in 2022 I started college in 2023 for holistic nutrition, I also launched our wild crafting business BushCraft Alchemy where we sell pretty much everything made here on the farm and then some.

We currently offer eggs for eating and incubating! Chick (when in season), Chicken culling, chicken meat, rabbit meat, sourdough, plants, vegetables, herbs, fruits and so much more! With our blog we hope to help you do it too!
